Need I register my child for FerieCamp?
Unless the programme stipulates otherwise for a particular activity, no registration is needed. Also, participation is free.
The programmes will be available on the website about one month prior to the camp. Browse through the programmes together with your child, decide on such activities as you find exiting – and check when the activities will take place. You can turn up whenever you feel like it, though we recommend that you participate from the beginning in order that your child will not miss out on important directions.
Sign up for the newsletter and be notified whenever new programmes are available.
What should I consider before I accompany my child to FerieCamp?
The FerieCamp activities take place all year round – indoors as outdoors. Therefore, it is important that your child brings/wears clothes that match both activity type and weather, thus providing your child with the best precondition for participation.
If your child will be participating in FerieCamp activities for most of the day, it is important that he/she brings a packed lunch and drinking bottle. Because, unless otherwise stated in the programme, lunch will not be served on the FerieCamp.
Can my child participate without me?
FerieCamps are open activities, free of charge. They shall not be compared with day-care facilities and, thus, participation is at one's own risk. In case you do not accompany your child, it is therefore important that he or she can participate independently in the camp activities.
Many children will be very capable of participating alone or in the company of a friend. But it will be up to you to assess whether your child is sufficiently mature for participating on his or her own.
We would appreciate that a parent or another relation to the child participates in the HolidayCamp event. Certain activities will be well suited for adult participation, whereas other activities should be watched from the side line.
If your child participates on its own, please remember to provide your telephone number.
